JANUARY 21, 2026 – Maxxinistas in the Miami Valley, rejoice!  Dayton Business Journal reported recently that OnSite Retail Group client, The TJX Companies, plans to open a new TJ Maxx store in Piqua, OH, about 20 miles north of Dayton. Dayton Business Journal Staff Reporter, Lauren Steen, posted a story last week and wrote, “A $56 billion retail giant plans to open its fourth Dayton-area location later this year.  T.J. Maxx will open a new storefront in Piqua, according to a recent LinkedIn post from Chris Schmiesing, economic development director at the city of Piqua.”  The Framingham, MA-based retailer is planning to open the store at Miami Valley Crossing at 1254 E. Ash Street just east of I-75.  The shopping center anchored by Walmart Supercenter and The Home Depot is owned by Tolson Enterprises.  Scott Saddlemire and Eric Abroms of OnSite Retail Group represented TJ Maxx in the lease transaction.  Click here to read the full story: T.J.
