Urban Sites & OnSite Retail Group seeking restaurant for unique OTR opportunity

October 15, 2025

OCTOBER 14, 2025 – Urban Sites, one of the most active developers in Greater Cincinnati’s urban core, recently tapped OnSite Retail Group to market a fantastic redevelopment opportunity at 1415 Walnut Street in Cincinnati’s thriving Over-the-Rhine neighborhood.  The goal for the duo is to secure a restaurant tenant for the 2,240 SF building to complement the $36.4M redevelopment of the Lockard building on the opposite side of Walnut Street.

Cincinnati Business Courier reporter, Christian LeDuc, wrote a story earlier this month and said, “Urban Sites President Kate Greene said she’s looking for a tenant that’s going to add a sense of place and purpose to the building, specifically a restaurant.  The goal is to find either a mom-and-pop operator looking for their first brick-and-mortar or to partner with a local restaurant group that’s hoping to expand. The three-story space features a roll-up garage door that could be utilized. There’s also potential for a rooftop bar that overlooks a portion of OTR, patio space and additional office space.”

This is OnSite’s first assignment with Urban Sites.  Green told LeDuc, “We keep our eye on all brokers in the area, and OnSite has great marketing.  They do a really good job on their social media channels, (and) I think they know how to make noise in unique ways.”  “OnSite is going to search for a restaurateur with a sense of imagination for the space and a good understanding of OTR, according to Haleigh Jones, a sales and leasing agent with the real estate company”, LeDuc said.  Click here to read the full story: OnSite Retail and Urban Sites seek unique tenant for OTR building – Cincinnati Business Courier
