SEPTEMBER 17, 2025 – A specialty retailer recently signed a lease for space on the ground floor of the iconic downtown Cincinnati skyscraper, Carew Tower.  Autographed sports memorabilia store Authentic Ink signed a lease earlier this month to open a store Carew Tower. The roughly 1,000-square-foot storefront will front Race Street just steps from the expanding convention center and close to Cincinnati’s historic Fountain Square.  Autographed merchandise is the retailer’s specialty, and the store will focus on merchandise from the Cincinnati Bengals, the Reds, FC Cincinnati and University of Cincinnati.

 

Derek Kill, the owner and founder of Authentic Ink, has been in the autograph and memorabilia business for 25 years, and has been looking for a location in downtown Cincinnati.  Kill got in touch with OnSite Retail Group’s Josh Rothstein and Danielle Levi and they had the perfect spot.  Levi told Cincinnati Business Courier reporter, Christian LeDuc, “Authentic Ink’s sports memorabilia concept brings fresh energy to one of downtown Cincinnati’s most iconic buildings, and we’re confident they’ll be a great addition to the community of businesses and visitors here.”

 

LeDuc penned a story last week in Cincinnati Business Courier and he explained, “In addition to local sports teams memorabilia, Kill is sourcing autographed merch from other teams to have on hand when they come to town for games.
