OnSite Retail Group helping Dave’s Hot Chicken in rapid expansion
July 29, 2025JULY 29, 2025 – Dave’s Hot Chicken has arrived in style in the Greater Cincinnati area with new restaurants open in Florece, KY and in the Oakley neighborhood in Cincinnati. The next frontier for Dave’s Hot Chicken will be Deerfield Township in the northeastern suburbs, where the chain is working to open in a former Gold Star Chili location on Mason-Montgomery Rd. Dave’s Hot Chicken is a fast-casual restaurant specializing in spicy Nashville-style hot chicken. Cincinnati Business Courier reporter Christian Le Duc posted a story last week writing, “All chicken is cooked to order and served with spice options including mild, medium, extra hot, reaper and more. Guests can also choose from a variety of milkshake flavors and sides. Christian Bankhead and his business partners Jaxon Tews and Jason Little are the franchisees behind the company’s new-to-market stores. The three are also franchisees of Crumbl Cookies. The company’s Florence location, at 4960 Houston Road, opened its doors April 18 in a former Dragon City space. Then July 4, Dave’s made its Cincinnati debut in the Oakley Station development, at 3208 Vandercar Way in a former MOD Pizza space. Bankhead said both locations are doing great. Earlier this month, Bankhead and his business partners, which operate collectively as BLT Ventures, signed a long-term lease to open a third location in Warren County, at 8150 Arbor Square Drive.”
LeDuc reported that Bankhead said both restaurants are doing well and explained, “Both times we opened, we had lines out the door.” The team is planning to open six to seven locations in the region including the Dayton market. The team is working with Dave Sheehy of OnSite Retail Group for its brokerage needs.
