MAY 27, 2025 – Coming soon to Mason, OH just north of Cincinnati is the highly anticipated Dorothy Lane Market, and right beside the new grocery store will be three additional buildings on 2.75 acres including 11,500 square feet of new retail space in a proposed multi-tenant building designed with two endcap spaces with patios for restaurants. Also planned for the new project are two additional buildings for retail or restaurant use, one of which can accommodate the only drive-thru permitted in the overall development, and the other offering a patio with a beautiful lake view.

 

Cincinnati Enquirer reporter Victoria Moorwood posted a story about the new grocery store writing, “Years after it was first announced, Greater Cincinnati’s first Dorothy Lane Market will open this summer.  The gourmet grocer will open at the corner of Mason-Montgomery Road and Veterans Parkway in Mason as part of a mixed-use planned community. Developers broke ground on the building in November 2023.  It’s the fourth Dorothy Lane Market location and the closest to Cincinnati. The other three stores are in the Dayton area: Oakwood, Washington Township and Springboro.”

 

For many Cincinnatians this will be their first experience with the beloved Dayton grocer.  As Moorwood explained in her story, “Dorothy Lane Market calls itself a “gourmet grocer” and is known for its trademark Killer Brownies. Shoppers can find a coffee bar, large wine and beer section, sushi, made-from-scratch meals and a flower market.”
