APRIL 15, 2025 – BODYBAR Pilates, a classic Pilates-based fitness concept designed to deliver endurance-based workouts is set to open its first Ohio location in Centerville, close to Dayton, OH.  BODYBAR Pilates currently has over 50 locations in the US in 16 different states.  The new 2,200 square foot Centerville location will fill the final vacancy at Cornerstone North, the successful retail development anchored by Costco, Kroger Marketplace and Cabela’s developed by Oberer Companies.

 

Lauren Steen, Staff Reporter at Dayton Business Journal, broke the news last week writing, “According to Steffeny Hanley, franchisee of the new location, the studio focuses more on the athletic, fitness inspired workout which goes beyond traditional Pilates workouts.”  Hanley told Steen, “They have a signature method that will help build muscular strength and endurance while improving your balance, flexibility and core strength.  You’re going to get more of a workout.”  Hanley also told Steen, “I wanted to bring it to Dayton because we love the area and there’s nothing else quite like BODYBAR Pilates that offers a combination of Pilates and the more intense workouts all in one.”

 

Eric Abroms and Haleigh Jones of OnSite Retail Group represented BODYBAR Pilates in the new lease.  The landlord was represented by Danielle Kuehnle of Oberer Realty Services.
