JUNE 24, 2024 – Cincinnati Business Courier staff reporter, Christian LeDuc, posted a story today about the new tenant that will soon be gearing up to open in the former CVS space at Symmes Gate Station in Symmes Township near Loveland.  Children’s Hospital will soon begin work in the vacant space with an opening anticipated in spring of 2025.  The former CVS space is located at 10554 Loveland-Madeira Road and measures 10,125 square feet.

 

The new operation will be Cincinnati Children’s Loveland Primary Care.  LeDuc wrote, “A spokesperson for the health system said the prime location was chosen partially due to its close proximity to Interstate 275.”  LeDuc quoted Dr. Evaline Alessandrini, chief operating officer for Cincinnati Children’s, from a news release which said, “Many families who live in Loveland or surrounding areas such as Symmes Township depend on pediatric primary care from Cincinnati Children’s, and they soon will have a much closer option for this service.  We’re making this investment to ensure families have convenient access to world-class health care.”

 

Renovation work is slated to begin soon and LeDuc informed readers that once complete, the facility will be able to handle as many as 25,000 patients annually.

 

Children’s secured a long-term lease for the building, a deal which was brokered by Josh Rothstein of OnSite Retail Group on behalf of the landlord.  Rothstein explained to LeDuc that even though e-commerce has altered the trajectory of the retail business in recent years, medical offices are often filling vacant retail spaces and, “continuing to preserve the relevance and vibrancy of neighborhood strip centers.”
