JUNE 7, 2024 – It’s the first Friday in June, so of course it’s national Doughnut Day!  For a real deal on the delicious treats, stop by your local Dunkin’ location where today you can pick up a free classic donut of your choice with the purchase of any beverage.  According to USA Today, the holiday was established by the Salvation Army in 1938 to honor the Donut Lassies, a group of women who traveled to France to serve donuts and other snacks to soldiers during World War I.
