MARCH 8, 2024 – America’s low-price leader, ALDI, is showing no signs of slowing down. The growth and expansion in Ohio alone has been impressive, and OnSite Retail Group’s Andrew Feinblatt has been involved in much of that activity.
This week, an article appeared on Yahoo Finance.com stating the Batavia, IL-based company plans to add 800 new stores by the end of 2028. The new stores will come in the form of organic growth plus acquisitions and conversions largely in the southeastern U.S. According to the news story on Yahoo Finance.com, “This five-year expansion plan will bring even more communities great products at the lowest possible prices during a time when consumers are more focused than ever on saving money. As a key part of its plans, ALDI also announced the successful completion of its acquisition of Southeastern Grocers and its Winn-Dixie and Harveys Supermarket banners, which will drive significant growth in the Southeast region over the next few years.”
