OnSite Retail Group brokers sale of West Chester bank property

March 7, 2024

MARCH 7, 2024 – While it seems more bank branches are closing these days versus opening, one small town regional bank is making a push to enter the West Chester market.

As reported yesterday by Cincinnati Business Courier staff reporter, Steve Watkins, “Somerville Bank, based in the Preble County city of Eaton, has bought a former PNC Bank branch building at the southeast corner of Ohio 747 and Union Center Boulevard in the Union Center Pavilion Shopping Center.”

Josh Rothstein and Zamaris Geleszinski of OnSite Retail Group sold the property on behalf of the owner.  Somerville Bank paid $1.26 million for the former PNC Bank branch at 8671 Union Centre Pavilion Drive.

Rothstein and Geleszinski explained to Watkins by email, “In an environment where banks and financial institutions aren’t expanding their footprint like they used to, it’s encouraging to know there are still some out in the marketplace positioned for further growth.”
