February 20, 2024 – Nicole Mistretta, Data Reporter at Dayton Business Journal, is spreading the news about one rapidly growing city southwest of Dayton.  Last week she wrote, “A growing city in the Dayton-Cincinnati metro area is booming with an explosive amount of development, not seen in its history. With more on the way, the city is hoping to continue attracting businesses to vacant lots.  The City of Carlisle is skyrocketing in new development over the last year, which can be seen in a drive down SR 123, also known as Central Avenue. In 2023, Carlisle issued 238 permits representing over $20 million in private investment.”
