Inflation drives shoppers to Dollar Tree
August 30, 2022Longtime OnSite Retail Group client, Dollar Tree, “reported rising sales in the second quarter as four-decade high inflation drove more customers to bargain chain stores for everything from lightbulbs to groceries”, according to an Associated Press story by Anne D’Innocenzio, appearing in Dayton Daily News. D’Innocenzio wrote, “Dollar stores tend to sell items in small quantities, not big packages, allowing low-income customers to buy a little at a time.
