A new unique café just opened in Cincinnati.  Symposium hosted a grand opening May 11, 2022, at 2835 Woodburn Avenue at DeSales Corner in East Walnut Hills.

OnSite Retail Group’s Josh Rothstein represented owners Aaron Owen and J. Matt Nickles, two veterans of the hospitality industry, in the new lease transaction.  Owen and Nickles had a vision of a coffee shop by day, wine bar by night, and with Rothstein’s help, made that dream a reality.

Andy Brownfield of Cincinnati Business Courier posted a story this week and reported that the espresso beans are from the local based Coffee Break Roasting Co., while their wine selection has over 100 choices as well as sake, beer, and cider on draft.  Symposium will also serve small plates that pair well with your beverage of choice.

To add to its uniqueness, there are no TVs, the lack of which is intended to help facilitate conversation between patrons.  Symposium also has room for private dining events or overflow for crowded evenings.
