Eric Schwartzberg, Staff Writer at Dayton Daily News, recently broke the news about the forthcoming new ALDI store across from Dayton Mall on the site of the former Barnes & Noble bookstore. Last week, Schwartzberg posted a follow-up story with digital renderings of the new 26,658 square-foot store will replace the existing ALDI location at 203 Springboro Pike. The store is expected to open sometime this summer. The new store will be one of 11 stores ALDI operates in the Dayton region, including their newest store in Xenia which opened in 2021.
