OnSite Retail Group client, ALDI, is quickly on its way to becoming the third-largest grocery retailer in the U.S. according to a story earlier this week in Retail & Restaurant Facility Business, this year ALDI will add 150 new stores, including over 20 new stores as the company is expanding into Lafyette, LA making Louisiana the 38th state of operation. The Gulf Coast will also be gaining two more locations in March.

With all these expansions ALDI will be adding a 564,000 square foot distribution center in Loxley, AL. This new warehouse will employ over 200 associates, which is great news for the region. In addition to the warehouse associates, ALDI will also be hiring 300 store associates to run the 100 new stores expected to be opened across the Southern States.

For those who prefer online shopping, there is good news for you as well! By the end of the year, ALDI is adding 300 stores that can accommodate curbside pickup to make grocery shopping faster and easier.
