OnSite Retail Group brokers deal to bring new life to shuttered restaurant

August 26, 2021

The Arepa Place will soon open its second restaurant in the Cincinnati suburb of Wyoming in the former CWC the Restaurant space at 1517 Springfield Pike. The restaurateurs behind the Arepa Place, Isis Arrieta-Dennis and her husband, Chris Arrieta-Dennis, got their start at Cincinnati’s historic Findlay Market.

The new restaurant will be located Andy Brownfield, Staff Reporter at Cincinnati Business Courier covered the story earlier this month and explained, “Arepas are Colombian bread. They’re like tortilla or pita but thicker and made from ground maize. The Arepa Place specializes in stuffed arepas, which are cut open and filled with ingredients such as chicken, beef, beans or plantains.” The restaurant will also serve Latin cocktails.

OnSite Retail Group Listing Specialist Joshua Rothstein represented the property owners in the deal. “This deal further perpetuates the trend we’re seeing where tried-and-true concepts continue expanding out of the urban core to more family-friendly neighborhoods like Deerfield Township, Loveland and Pleasant Ridge to provide more convenience for their customer base,” Rothstein said.
