Cincinnati Business Courier Staff Reporter Steve Watkins posted an online story today announcing Aldi is planning to open another Cincinnati-area store. Watkins wrote, “Germany-based Aldi, with its U.S. headquarters in suburban Chicago, plans to open a store in Springdale this fall, Aldi division vice president Sarah Brown told me. The store is at 425 E. Kemper Road. Aldi is converting the former Michaels arts and crafts store into a supermarket.”
The new store in Springdale Plaza will mark Aldi’s 18th location in Greater Cincinnati. Aldi has been on a nationwide expansion push. The company is represented in the Greater Cincinnati and Dayton areas by OnSite Retail Group Principal, Andrew Feinblatt.
