OnSite Retail Group’s Anthony Palazzolo and Joshua Rothstein represented the owner of the DeSales Corner development in a new lease of 2,400 square feet to Mochiko Café. This is the first brick-and-mortar location from the husband-and-wife team of Erik Bentz and Elaine Townsend. The new café is located in the East Walnut Hills neighborhood of Cincinnati at 1524 Madison Road. Mochiko Café opened in late March for carry-out orders and will fully open the café for indoor seating in early April.
Sean M. Peters of CityBeat posted a great story about Mochiko Café, writing, “In what’s been a turbulent 12 months for the restaurant industry, it’s refreshing to get some good news from a flourishing culinary team that was just planting its roots in Cincinnati before the pandemic.” Peters describes the café’s dishes as “remarkably inventive, yet familiar, sweet and savory”.
