Pet supply industry publication Pet Food Processing, featured a story by Jordan Tyler today which shared the announcement that OnSite Retail Group client, Pet Supplies Plus, will acquire about 40 former Pet Valu stores after Pet Valu announced it will close all 358 of its retail stores in the United States due to COVID-19 impacts.

Pet Supplies Plus acquired the closed Pet Valu stores in Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, New Jersey, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Virginia and will reopen them as Pet Supplies Plus stores in January 2021.

Tyler commented, “These store acquisitions by Pet Supplies Plus will save numerous pet retail jobs that would otherwise be lost amid the Pet Valu store closings.” OnSite Retail Group’s Scott Saddlemire represents Pet Supplies Plus across the Greater Cincinnati and Dayton, OH regions.
