Reporter Sue Kiesewetter shared the excitement this morning in the Cincinnati Enquirer about the proposed new Dunkin’ on S. Gilmore Road in Fairfield in front of Meijer and next-door to the new Chick-Fil-A. “We’re excited to be in Fairfield and develop and operate a Dunkin’ here”, said Pat Gilligan, President and CEO of Gilligan Co., the area franchisee. Planning Commission has approved the Dunkin’ plan and a final city council vote is scheduled for June 8. Fairfield’s planning manager, Erin Lynn, said “We’re happy to have them. They’ve been a good business in Fairfield, good to the neighborhood, good to the community.” Scott Saddlemire of OnSite Retail Group is representing Dunkin’ and Gilligan Co. in the transaction.
