Dayton Daily News: Giordano’s is dishing out an ‘Impossible Pizza’ option

November 7, 2019

Dayton Daily News Staff Writer, Lisa Powell, posted a breaking news story today announcing “Giordano’s — known for its cheesy, Chicago-style deep dish pizza — is the latest restaurant offering plant-based meat alternatives.” Powell wrote, “The Impossible Pizza features Giordano’s signature sausage recipe prepared with Impossible meat made from plants, according to a release. The pizza will be available as a premium ingredient option for thin crust, extra thin crust, and their iconic deep dish pizzas.”

Giordano’s opened at 2819 Centre Drive near the Mall at Fairfield Commons on Feb. 19. The Beavercreek restaurant was the second Giordano’s location in Ohio behind the location at 2137 Polaris Parkway in Columbus. David Sheehy of Cincinnati-based OnSite Retail Group is representing Giordano’s in the Dayton and Cincinnati, OH markets.
