The Beavercreek Aldi store damaged in the Memorial Day tornadoes that ripped across the Dayton, OH area will reopen this month.

The 2451 Lakeview Drive store in Beavercreek will reopen Aug. 15. The tornadoes did extensive damage to the store and tore off one-third of the roof. Cecilia Salomone, Staff Reporter at Dayton Business Journal, wrote “The Beavercreek store’s reopening will feature a “Golden Ticket” giveaway offering gift cards to the first 100 customers, a sweepstakes for a chance to win a year’s supply of Aldi produce, and complimentary eco-friendly reusable bags, according to a news release.” Salamone added, “Shortly after the tornadoes, Aldi sent more than 700 boxes of nonperishable food to the Dayton Foodbank and donated $10,000 to the American Red Cross to support tornado relief efforts in the Dayton region.”
