Eric Schwartzberg, Staff Writer for WHIO-TV, posted a story yesterday online announcing Mercy Health is now moving forward with plans to open a new $14 million facility to house primary and specialty care practices with 36 exam rooms in Deerfield Township. The ground breaking was set to happen today. The new 26,500-square-foot complex kicks-off the first construction activity at The District of Deerfield, a $120 million mixed-use project on 28 acres in Deerfield Township in northern Cincinnati, just off Mason-Montgomery Road. The District at Deerfield is being developed by Silverman & Company of Blue Ash. The District at Deerfield will include 242 high-end apartments in four, four-story buildings just north of Parkway Drive, plus a two-acre public square surrounded by green space, 95,000 square feet of street-level retail space and 120 loft-style apartments above the retail.
