Despite the trouble many of the nation’s retailers are facing so far this year, Dollar Tree continues to open new stores and improve the positioning of its existing stores. Recently, Kristine Davidson of OnSite Retail Group finalized two transactions for Chesapeake, VA-based Dollar Tree.
On the east side of Hamilton, OH in Fairfield Township, Davidson represented Dollar Tree in the purchase of a 1.56-acre parcel on an outlot of the Menard’s home improvement store at the intersection of S. Gilmore & Princeton Roads where Dollar Tree will construct a new freestanding prototype store.
In Dayton, OH, Davidson represented Dollar Tree in the purchase of a 14,820 square foot former Walgreens store at 5651 N. Dixie Drive from Walgreens. This acquisition will allow Dollar Tree to relocate and improve their position in the market, while gaining square footage and parking.
