Pet Supplies Plus, who entered the Greater Cincinnati market in April with a store in Blue Ash, will open its first store in the commonwealth of Kentucky this fall. The new 8,500 square foot store will be located in the Kroger Marketplace-anchored Independence Town Center. Livonia, MI-based Pet Supplies Plus is a privately held company with 300 stores in 23 states. The Greater Cincinnati stores are corporately owned and operated, though nationwide 46% of the stores are operated by franchisees.
Scott Saddlemire of Cincinnati, OH-based OnSite Retail Group, LLC brokered the deal in cooperation with Brian Kerr of Pittsburgh, PA-based Langholz Wilson Ellis, both on behalf of Pet Supplies Plus. Saddlemire and Kerr handle the real estate representation for Pet Supplies Plus in the Greater Cincinnati, Dayton, and western Ohio areas.
