OnSite Retail Group has been hard at work for many months in an effort to help their client GetGo – a regional gas & convenience store operator – plan a multi-store penetration in the Miami Valley. The first Dayton GetGo Café & Market will be bringing along its car wash counterpart, known as WetGo.
In late April, the proposed new GetGo and WetGo site in Dayton was conditionally approved by the city of Dayton on a 4-acre site at Brandt Pike and Needmore Road in Dayton.
In a May 9th posting in the Dayton Business Journal, Data Reporter Nicole Mistretta wrote, “The convenience store, with a drive through and WetGo Car Wash, will include 12 fueling stations and more than 40 parking spaces.” Mistretta explained that zoning consultants for GetGo, McBridge Dale Clarion, are “working on the approval for another GetGo fueling station, convenience store and drive-through at 2100 S Alex Road in West Carrollton. The project has yet to receive approval from the city and will not include a WetGo. GetGo, a Giant Eagle company, operates more than 260 convenience stores across Pennsylvania, Ohio, Indiana, Maryland and West Virginia. Some of their its include WetGo, a car wash sector of the brand.”
Eric Abroms, Dave Sheehy & Jeff Smith of Cincinnati, OH-based OnSite Retail Group are representing GetGo in the company’s efforts to acquire sites in the Dayton region. The Pittsburgh-based convenience chain offers a broad selection of options for every meal of the day plus snacks – with both made-to-order and grab-and-go offerings.
