Meg Erpenbeck, Digital editor at Cincinnati Business Courier, broke the news last week that a national department store is slated to fill the former Remke market space at Hyde Park Plaza.  In her story Erpenbeck wrote, “Kohl’s will occupy 41,792 square feet of space, according to a brochure from Regency Centers, which operates Hyde Park Plaza.  That will make it the center’s second-largest tenant.  Currently, Kroger is the largest tenant at Hyde Park Plaza.”  The opening date for Kohl’s has not yet been announced but the site is now under construction.

Kohl’s currently operates 13 stores around Greater Cincinnati; its closest store to Hyde Park Plaza is in Blue Ash.  Scott Saddlemire, Eric Abroms and Zamaris Geleszinski of OnSite Retail Group worked in cooperation with Hanna Langholz Wilson Ellis to represent Kohl’s in the new lease transaction.
