Premier Health to open at Xenia Gateway development
November 29, 2022Premier Health, the largest comprehensive health system in Southwest Ohio, has announced it is opening a new 15,000 square-foot medical office building at the Xenia Gateway development near W. Main Street and the new Hospitality Drive extension on the west side of Xenia, OH. Premier Health’s new building is already under construction west of the new Aldi store. Xenia Gateway is the name of the new mixed-use development which features Aldi, and soon Dunkin’, Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen and Fifth Third Bank. Marketing and leasing for Xenia Gateway is being handled by Cincinnati, OH-based OnSite Retail Group.
The new Premier Health building at 2066 W. Main Street will house primary care, obstetrics, and gynecology providers. Premier Health anticipates it will operate with 24 people in the new building that will open next year. Angela Watson Gray, staff reporter at Dayton Business Journal, posted a story on Tuesday, November 22nd about the new facility writing, “Approximately four to five new positions are expected to be created. The new building will operate with 24 people, including providers, support staff, a manager, and four CompuNet employees.”
Based in Dayton, Ohio, Premier Health operates five hospitals, eight emergency departments and ten urgent care clinics, in addition to over 130 outpatient locations and affiliated primary care and specialty physician offices, as well as home health, mental health, and substance abuse services. Premier Health has over 11,300 employees, making Premier Health the third-largest employer in the Dayton, OH region. According to Dayton Business Journal research, it also is Greater Dayton’s fourth-largest company by total revenue, generating $2.15 billion in 2021.
