Aldi set to unveil new look at Colerain & Eastgate locations

August 28, 2018

German-based grocer and OnSite Retail Group client Aldi will celebrate the reopening of its stores at 9490 Colerain Ave. in Colerain Township and 821 Clepper Lane in Union Township (Clermont County) with ribbon-cutting ceremonies at 8:30 a.m. on Aug. 30th at both locations, as reported by Bill Cieslewicz, Managing Editor, Cincinnati Business Courier.

Aldi’s focus in the new store design is on fresh products, including produce, dairy and bakery products plus healthy and nutritional specialties. Aldi’s newly renovated stores feature building materials and contemporary design elements that enhance the customer’s shopping experience, such as LED lighting, open ceilings and increased natural lighting.

The renovations are part of a $1.9 billion initiative to expand more than 1,300 Aldi stores nationwide by the end of 2020. Locally, Aldi is investing more than $14 million to update 11 stores in Greater Cincinnati by the end of 2019. The stores in Colerain and Union townships are the fourth and fifth local Aldi locations to be remodeled, joining West Chester, Evendale and Pleasant Ridge.
