The thrill of the hunt keeps T.J. Maxx, off-price retailers growing

August 6, 2018

While some retailers are closing stores, many discount and off-price retailers like OnSite Retail Group clients T.J. Maxx and Marshalls continue their robust plans to open new brick and mortar stores. Framingham, Mass.-based TJX Cos., parent of T.J. Maxx, HomeGoods and Marshalls, currently operates more than 4,000 stores in nine countries, and it wants to add another 2,000. This year it expects to open about 65 additional T.J. Maxx and Marshalls stores. Maxx’s sales came from online shoppers.
