Michaels, the arts and crafts specialty retailer, has announced the opening date for their new store in Cincinnati at Northgate Mall will be July 21. The new 21,840 square foot store will be in the redeveloped section of the mall fronting Colerain Avenue. Scott Saddlemire of OnSite Retail Group represented Michaels in the transaction. Irving, Texas-based Michaels Stores, Inc. is North America’s largest specialty retailer of arts, crafts, framing, floral, wall décor and seasonal merchandise for the hobbyist and do-it-yourself home decorator. The company currently owns and operates more than 1,113 Michaels stores in 49 states and Canada and 123 Aaron Brothers stores.
