Tri-County Towne Center lures Hobby Lobby

October 30, 2011

OnSite Retail Group is pleased to announce two of its principals, Andrew Feinblatt and Kristine Davidson, have brokered a long term lease to relocate craft and home décor superstore Hobby Lobby to Tri-County Towne Center in Springdale, OH, owned and managed by the local Gilhart family. Hobby Lobby was searching for an opportunity to improve its position in the bustling Springdale retail market, and Tri-County Towne Center proved to have just the right blend of easy access and high visibility to the heavy stream of traffic flowing along Princeton Pike directly across the street from Tri-County Mall, the second largest retail development in the Greater Cincinnati region.

Hobby Lobby’s new store at Tri-County Towne Center will measure 54,980 square feet store, and will sit adjacent to Woodcraft, another newcomer to Tri-County Towne Center. The store is expected to open in all 2012. The 276,000 square foot Tri-County Towne Center, originally developed and named Princeton Plaza, was built in 1962. In 2011, the shopping center began an extensive renovation project with new facades, signage and color scheme.
