Kristine Davidson of OnSite Retail Group brokered a lease in Hillsboro, OH that will bring the county seat of Highland County its first Dollar Tree store. Dollar Tree plans to open its new store this September in a 9,500 square foot space in the Peebles department store anchored Hillsboro Professional Plaza at 1088 N High Street.

Hillsboro, located 50 miles east of Cincinnati, offers a surprisingly strong retail presence given its population of approximately 6,400. The city’s location in the center of the county at the junction of two U.S. highways and four state highways contribute to its status as the retail hub of Highland County. Chesapeake, VA-based Dollar Tree Stores has continued to expand its presence throughout Ohio and currently operates over 4,000 stores nation-wide.
