November 6, 2026 – Andrew Feinblatt and Jeff Smith finally got to see the fruits of their labor when Publix opened their new store last month in Florence at 8740 US 42.  The OnSite Retail Group duo worked on the 11.8-acre property for many years.   A local developer, Hemal Soni, purchased all 11.8 acres and then hired Feinblatt & Smith to market the acreage for development.  Feinblatt & Smith brokered a deal with Publix in which the grocer acquired about 10 acres.  Soni retained two acres along US 42, and a ground lease deal was made with Bank of America on one of the outparcels.  The remaining outparcel was developed into a three-tenant retail center with Qdoba Mexican Grill, Amazing Nails and AT&T.  Qdoba Mexican Grill was represented by Kristine Davidson, also with OnSite Retail Group.

 

The Florence/Union, KY area has experienced a lot of growth in recent years.  Just south on US 42 from the new Publix development, Feinblatt and Smith have been working with Soni at the Union Promenade development where Soni controls three lots.  Soni, Feinblatt & Smith worked together to complete deals including Schlotzsky’s Deli, Tropical Smoothie Café, Ace of Fades barber shop, Club Pilates, SportClips, HOTWORX, Wingstop and Pure Barre.  Feinblatt & Smith have one final space to lease – a 2,333 square foot endcap with a drive-through.  Please contact Andrew Feinblatt and Jeff Smith at OnSite Retail Group for all the details.
